The things kids have to learn from and parents dread!

A couple nights ago I went to tuck Katelynn in and this is what I found....



So I did what any one would do! I Cut it so it was even and so it looked fine.
I think I was so sick that I wanted to cry. Katelynn at first was very proud of her self. Then trying not to hurt her feelings I said she needs to come to me if she wants to do something like this and always ask for scissors. I made her take a look in the mirror and told her we have to even it out and that she's going to have short hair. She was so sad that she said her good byes and told her hair she will miss it. For her birthday she got a Rapunzel barbie which came with scissors that are plastic and fake. They allow you to cut her hair that can be placed back on after cutting. For some reason I think this put false thoughts in to her head.









She said she has learned her lesson!

The kids pretend vacation

The kids pretended to go on vacation to the beach. The whole thing started by the kids just playing together being imaginative. I walked in to My kitchen and found my kids with there beach towels, sun glasses, and swimming suits on. It was so cute that I had to take pictures. Then they asked if they could go swimming and have a picnic. So they jumped in the tube with there suits and had lunch on our kitchen floor. The best part of this story is that besides them just being imaginative and just being silly. Katelynn was talking to Sam my Sister in law one day and told her we went on vacation this last weekend. Sam asked where did you go? She said to the beach!!! So if you want to take the kids on a cheap vacation that does not cost anything just pretend your going some where in your own home. They love it!!!
