Easter Fun!!!

We were able to celebrate Easter at Kalley's on Saturday. We had a nice barbecue and after we had the kids go outside to have an Easter egg hunt. It was perfect because at home in Spring City it was snowing. Up in West Jordan it was Cloudy and it did not start to rain until after the hunt. I'm just glad my kids were able to enjoy a great day with their cousins.

On Sunday the kids awoke to their eggs hid by the Easter bunny. The Easter bunny also left a basket full of goodies like: swim suits, flip flops, puzzles and princess wood doll dress ups (wooded paper dolls). Mason got a book that made a tractor sound, and Katelynn got a pretty little neckless. Over all the kids said that the Easter bunny was very nice.

Toys!!

Have you ever wondered were your kid's toys go sometimes.
I was helping clean up the Mason's toys before the kids went to bed and found an empty basket were Mason's cars usually are. So I went on thinking I was going to find them somewhere while cleaning. After we finished I thought it was funny that I never found them.
The kids were asleep and it was time for Fletcher and I to head to bed. I was brushing my teeth when Fletcher yelled "OH, what is in my bed". When I went over it looked like nothing until he pulled back the sheet. "Those sneaky little kids" We got a good laugh out of it and went to bed.
I just thought I would blog this and ask if any of you found unusual things in unusual spots?

A day enjoying the sun!!

Fletcher had bought the kids some kites and said when it was the perfect weather we would fly them.
So couple of days ago it was a beautiful day. The wind was blowing just enough that you could fly a kite and it was very warm outside.
Fletcher was helping Mason with his "Transformer Kite" and I was helping Katelynn with her "Barbie Kite". Mason got his going first so Fletcher left him holding it. He looked so cute I wish I could have taken a picture quick enough before the wind decide to take it out of his little hands and blow it over the trees. His face was so priceless as he looked sad and said "bye bye robot" as he watched it fly away. After the kids were done flying kites, they played in the sand for a couple of hours. When I went out side to get some more pictures and saw Mason eating something. You think he would know better and when I asked what it was, he said "candy". I walked over there and what did I find... deer poo. Gross! I hope we can make our yard a better place for my kids to play in soon.
We hope that we can start to burn, plow, run sprinklers, lay lawn and put a nice sand box in soon. It will be great! A nice big yard for the kids to run and play.

A Day With The Girls!!

Yesterday was a day of refreshment it was great. My husband was so great to take the kids and give me a day to do anything I wanted. So I decided that I wanted to get together with my sister, Kalley, and my best friend, Staci. We decided to get together for lunch. As we were setting there, we realized how long its been since we had been together just the three of us without our kids or husbands. It feels so long since our single years together. We made a vow to do it more often. It was great to catch up. We did a lot of talking and shopping. Things might be different but in good way because instead of shopping for ourselves we were shopping for our kids. I was so refreshed when I got home I was able to take on the rest of my chores at home and I was so excited to see my kids and husband. Fletcher saw that it was good for me and said I deserved to do it more often. Thanks Fletch you are the greatest. Love ya! Also Thanks Kalley and Staci for the great day. We wish we had a camera with us to capture the moment.
Her is a picture back in the days when we took a trip to the Bahamas.
