I Just Love Christmas

Christmas this year we spent with Fletchers Family. We had Christmas Eve dinner with Fletchers parents and it was full of family just like old times I loved it. Christmas Day My kids are great they slept until 8:30 we had Breakfast first then opened presents. Katelynn was so cute with all her comments. One of them was when she came in to wake us up she said "Mom, Dad Santa was here he ate all the cookies all gone and he left his hat. Mason was just so excited for all the toy, and kept riding them even though they were not really to ride them. In the after noon we went to Fletchers Brother's Prescott house and had Christmas ham. It was yummy My favorite is ham with gravy. Brings back memories of Christmas with my mom.

The day after Christmas we went to my dads for the family Christmas party and spend the weekend the kids got pajamas, books and a movie from Papa and Nana. Kalley my sister had my family's name. She was very crafty she made me this cute wooded word "HOME" that changes out the letter "O" with different seasons items. On Saturday we enjoyed the snow bye going tubing down the tubing hill bye the farm. This hills brings back childhood memories. It was lots of fun.

Dress up is her favorite game and Love's to get ready with me in the mirror every day. She loves to comb her hair and uses my makeup if she can sneak some with out me looking. Every Monday & Wednesday she has Preschool and dance. Were she just had her first Re-sit ale so please stay tuned for a new post soon staring Katelynn. She loves princess, playing with her baby dolls and pretending to be a little mommy.

He is getting the hang of it and our goal is to be done my the end of January. He has such a sweet spirit and is always the first to say I'm sorry. He loves being a monkey, always climbing on anything he can get his hands and feet on. He's a very determined little boy. He loves automobiles, animals, and chocolate milk. Him and his sister are pilot and co. pilot in every thing they do. They love to playing together.
Fletcher is working hard at skyline mine and loves to have the extra time off that this job tends to give. To spend time with his family, surf through KSL.com for any good buys. and working on his little hobby's around the house.
I have found that I love to be in this small town of Spring City were my kids can roam a little more freely. with less worries. I love being a stay at home mom. Were I can watch my kids grow up and hit each of the stages wither there good our bad.

Family Pictures

I decided that its time to get pictures done again. Mason just turned two, Katelynn's going to be four, and our family picture is over year old. I like going to sears to get them done and I like the way they turn out. I love having new pictures but I hate getting them done. Getting there on time, the kids not minding or setting steel, and the husbands being impatient. Then at the end your just praying that with every picture that gets taken. You will at least have some that looks good. After all said and done your pictures look great your glad you got them done and that you have another year to go buy before you get them done again.

Tis The Season To Be Giving

Webfetti.com

Dear Readers, Have you ever wanted to help someone that was less fortunate than you and didn't know how. Well, I am tagging everyone who reads my blog to do something more. This year I saw something that got me thinking; how many of us have a coat or blanket or even clothes that you don't need or are planning to throw away. There is someone out there who needs them. One year back when it was really cold outside, I was driving in Salt lake and I saw a young lady who was standing on the street with a sign asking for money or food. I don't know about any of you but I hate giving money away because you really don't know how they will spend it. I remembered that I had a long coat in my trunk that I didn't want any longer so I got out and gave it to her. She looked so happy. She said thanks and put it on. I left feeling good about what I did and I knew it was going to good use. Well, today I saw an online add to donate a coat to the homeless. It got me thinking about all the coats I have sitting around my house not being used. I've decided that I'm going to give them away including some blankets that I don't use. This year, lets give instead of take. I'm Challenging you to give something to the less fortunate. It does not even have to be a coat. It could just be something else to help those that are in need of a little more. We as a family have decided to start a new holiday tradition to give something away each season while my kids are still young. I would like them to grow up knowing that they can make a difference and spread a little Christmas cheer by helping others. The church wards usually do a Sub For Santa, Angel Trees or Wish Trees. I think it's a great way to get the children more involved.

I did a little homework on where and how to do some things. Fletcher's aunt is gathering coats, blankets, and clothes that are still in good shape to take up to a homeless shelter in Salt Lake City. If anyone is interested and wants to donate as well, I could gather them somehow and give them to her. Another way is that each church ward should have someone in charge of the humanitarian services and would be knowledgeable on what to do. Also, Deseret Industries has a place by the distribution center in Salt Lake that takes overstock or things that don't sell and ships them to third-world countries. You can specify that you would like a certain item to go and they will send them. I've listed just a couple of ideas, but I know there are so many more options out there if you just look.

If you have done something special this season and would like to share your story, please post a message about it. I think this is something that would be fun to share on our blogs.
